Shelley’s work is a reflection of her experiences on the planet — a portrayal of myriad walks of life she has observed over the years. She began shooting her world travels with a Nikon film camera gifted when she was 16. Eventually she realized photography was a great passion that she would elevate to profession. She purchased a DSLR and pursued studies with Nikon School, B&H Photography Classes, and courses at Photo Manhattan Photography School.
She likes to capture the wildly gorgeous, textured multidimensionality of landscapes; the spirit of elation of special events (including weddings, retreats, and lifestyle shoots); and the distinct beauty and soul of diverse humans in her natural portraits. Her work is intimate, warm, and imaginative.
Shelley has been featured in the book “Harold’s Story: A Journey of Uncommon Healing” by Dr. Sam Mayhugh (Trilogy Press, Available on Amazon (2019) and in exhibitions at Photo Manhattan and FIGMENT NYC’s Art in Action: 12x12 Art Show + Auction (2018). Shelley lives in Boulder, CO.
